Some Myths About Acne
Acne does not arise from uncleanliness, i.e., too much dirt in the skin's pores. Too much scrubbing may actually make acne worse.
Acne does not arise from chocolate or fried foods. No foods cause acne or make it worse.

I agree. It really depends on the person what food triggers an acne breakout. There's no direct link but I think certain foods can aggravate the condition.
