Impact of acne on sexual life?

I want to know how does acne effects sexual liffe?. I'm asking this because one of my friend is suffering from acne and his girl friend is refusing to have sex eith him?. Even I want to know. Please send methe answers.

I think most of us would be interested in knowing how it affects an individual. It is obvious from your post that acne ruins one's sexual life. I don't think it is contractable through sex but then again it would be better to wait for the doctor to have a say.

acne is the problem faced most of the teen
this is caused by bacteria which infects the fat in the skin and stocks in sweetglands of face
there will be no problem with acne during sex
but most of girls affarid that acene is contagious skin problem that is transmitted during sex.

Acne is only effect on the skin. Not effected on others body even doing sex. So do not worry about it.

Obviously acne doesn’t affect you in the physical sense as far as sexual activity goes. It's more of a psychological issue, and can be damaging in that sense. If your self confidence is being affected by acne, the emotional side effects can play a big role in your love life. But this is simply related to self confidence, and your psychological wellbeing, it isn’t isolated to acne.

And medstudent, of course acne is not sexually transmitted. I think it's important to mention that is a misconception.
