What precautions to take against rosacea

Hello Doctor, I am fair skinned and I enjoy outdoor sports like cricket, soccer and beach volleyball. Most of the time my skin turns red due to persistent exposure to the sun and I am worried I might get affected by rosacea. What precautions can I take to avoid falling a victim to rosacea?
