Making time for yourself
Do you set aside me time? or does everyone else in the family come before you?
Im not the greatest at grabbing some me time and usually only manage to get away by locking my self in the toilet and even then i get questions shouted through the door!!

Share with me, how do you set aside me time and STICK TO IT. How do you overcome the guilt? or feeling everything will collapse if your not there.

Never felt the need for me time i must say. I ain't married yet so i think I have all the ME time i need. Why don't you go for a vacation just like I do whenever i am through with my semester exams? You may get a lot of me time to unwind and relax and contemplate on the issues at hand.

I used to be terrible at setting time for myself. But a point comes when you just have to do it in order to keep your own sanity.
What you have to do is exactly what you said :STICK TO IT. For example, say that every wednesday afternoon/night you need 2 hours for yourself.
Put it in your calendar as an appointment so that if you are asked to do something else you can say :I am sorry but I have something else at that time. And use that time for relaxation purposes, for clearing your head from all different thoughts etc.

And NO, everything will NOT collapse if you are not there. Believe me.

I used to have this problem earlier and was quite upset as to finding time for myself. Then I reduced socializing and finally could find time for my own body and health.I feel that one must keep and manage time for oneself in spite of all your assignments.
