How to close open pores?

I do have open pores and my friend told me that i should use toner twice a day, morning and night. Is this true?

I made some comments on this topic on a different tread. I suffered from the same problem too but I found that used gentle products on my face - usually Johnsons baby lotion and Johnsons facial cleaner helped a lot. Also washing your face regularly with cold water helps shrink your pores.

Use ice when you can to shrink your pores. That way you will end up having smaller pores which will not catch too much dust. Also wash your face everytime you can. Every couple of hours should be best if you can do it. Keep your pores clean until you get around to closing them.
